2008 Holiday Help Thanksgiving Food Basket Distribution

We just finished participating in a thanksgiving Food Basket distribution that included five distribution sites in Minneapolis on November 22nd. Persons and families came to register for the baskets in October and picked them up in November. Over 700 baskets were distributed between the five sites. Over 80 were given out at our site here at the First Free Methodist Church.

The baskets were provided by the Union Gospel Mission and Good In the ‘Hood (Neighborhood) coordinated the Minneapolis distribution under the leadership of Shawn Morrison. Thanks, Shawn for allowing us to be a part of this in the name of Jesus Christ.
